Alternatives to Audiopress anyone?
As Audiopress is shutting down, can anyone recommend a good alternative?
THE killer feature is the Audiopress player ability to remember the last-played position in each audio file. The native Apple iPod app is so dumb in this respect.
An app that could import the podcast subscription list generated by Audiopress would be ideal.

No function to import my Audiopress.opml file into TuneIn Radio.
The only app (with a lite version) I found where I can import my opml file is RSSRadio. However, the player controls are too small and make it dangerous to operate while driving, as opposed to the player gesture mode in Audiopress which was very convenient while driving.
I was not able to try Downcast as there is a paying version only. Any Audiopress user tried the Downcast app?

For the benefit of this group, I inform you that I just purchased the Downcast app and am very happy with it. A few improvement requests I made in this Audiopress forum are actually implemented in Downcast, it is like getting Audiopress version 3.0. I am glad I found Downcast.
Every cool feature of Audiopress (gesture mode etc.) are actually implemented in Downcast. The best part is that the opml file generated by Audiopress imports flawlessly into Downcast, so you do not need to re-add your Podcasts manually 1 by 1.
The second candidate to replace Audiopress is RSSRadio, but it is missing the gesture mode, so it is less convenient to use while driving.
