Playing audio in the background

We've had reports from users that sometimes AUDIOPRESS stops playing audio in the background. This is not the intended behavior, AUDIOPRESS fully supports multitasking in the background to play audio.

We're continuing to investigate the issue, but have not yet been able to reproduce it.

If this happens to you, try restarting AUDIOPRESS as follows:

  • Press on the Home button to exit out of AUDIOPRESS and back to your home screen app icons
  • Double-press on the Home button to open the multitasking running apps list
  • Press and hold on the AUDIOPRESS icon in the running apps list until the icons start to wobble and a red close icon appears in the upper left corner
  • Press on the red close icon on AUDIOPRESS so that it disappears
  • Press on the Home button until you return to your home screen app icons
  • Re-launch AUDIOPRESS

If audio STILL won't play in the background, try a complete restart of your phone. HOLD DOWN the display/sleep button until the "slide to power off" control appears on the screen. Slide the control over and wait until the display completely turns off. Then, press and hold the display/sleep power button again until the phone starts up again.

This seems to remedy the problem for most users. If you're continuing to have this problem, please do not hesitate to contact us and we will do everything we can to diagnose and address the issue.

Sincerely,
The AUDIOPRESS Team
